The First Low Income Housing North of 86th St.

Levine Builders provided construction management services the new construction of a mixed-use building at 102nd Street and 1st Avenue in upper Manhattan. Funded through NYS Housing Finance Agency’s 80/20 program, which provides low-interest, tax-exempt bond financing. This project included a masonry bearing concrete plank tower as well as a steel framed, composite deck commercial building which included over 55,000 square feet of community facility space as well as 16,000 square feet of retail at grade; all which rests upon a 35,000-square foot parking structure. The 225,000-square foot residential tower is comprised of 230 luxury apartments that feature Travertine bathrooms and granite counters in both the kitchens and bathrooms. Designed by The Stephen B. Jacobs Group, with interiors designed by Andi Pepper, the building features a highly articulated masonry facade and lush landscaped outdoor gardens, fitness room, laundry facility and 24-hour concierge.
